Children's Choir

Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

This ministry involves teaching our children the fundamentals of singing as a choir. They are also learning proper breathing, proper posture, and coordination as it relates to tambourine playing, and for those that have an interest AND the talent, drums.

The age group is the same for all other youth activities. However, we are separating out the "older" ones, 8 or 9 to 12 to form a separate group. We practice for one hour on Sunday evenings and for special occasions we practice for two hours beginning at 4 pm. One of these precious ones are assigned to bring a 5 minute Bible Study for 4 to 6 weeks.

This ministry is proving to be fun and exciting as it is new and a startup, or restart of this group. We teach these little ones WHY we praise and encourage them to express their joy in the Lord.

Qualifications, of course, include a passion from God for this type of work, a Spirit filled heart and life, and an interview with the Pastor/Board of Elders/Albert Hall and the current Director of Children's Choir.
