Hospitality Committee

Purpose:

The purpose of the Hospitality Committee is to create a warm, friendly, welcoming personal environment that we might share the love of Christ through serve and evangelism.

Opportunities of Service:

1. Sunday School Greeters: Focus on welcoming guest and recent members at Church entry points and assist them by informing and locating the appropriate Sunday School class for each member of their family.
2. Worship Service Greeters: Function as an initial welcome focusing on guest and recent fellowship members by locating themselves at or near the entrances to the Sanctuary, and informing them of Church Ministries, Sunday Schools, and Bible Study opportunities. Greeters may also serve families by assisting them in locating Children's Church and Nursery Care.
3. Visitation: For those guests that complete visitor's cards, the Hospitality Committee has regular weekly visitation on Tuesday evenings at 7:00PM. we participate by going to the homes of those who have previously visited our church to share the love of Christ by meeting their ministry needs, informing of opportunities for service, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
4. Evangelism: The Hospitality Committee leads evangelism through periodic community evangelism efforts.  These include canvassing the community prior to major events, door to door outreach, and personal evangelism.
5. Parking Lot Greeters: It is a goal of the Hospitality Committee to activate Parking Lot Greeters who would meet guest and congregation in the parking lot and serve by greeting and assisting them and their families to Church entry points.
